New play equipment in the adventure playground to the rear of the Barlow Institute, start date early summer. Awaiting the funding to be signed off by the Executive member.
Belmont.
We are also developing the football pitch on the moss, so we can start the Belmont Eagles again, what a fine team of young ladies they were!
The public toilets are finally going to be rebuilt after much haggling with Blackburn over money and management but with the joint efforts of myself and Parish Council we will have them back. Starting date Summer 08.
THE PARISH COUNCIL - have finally appointed a new 'Litter Picker and Parish Lengthsman'. Hopefully things should change for the better soon.
