Looking after all our tomorrows...
For the past 8 years I have represented North Turton with Tockholes wards within Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. I have always been very passionate about local politics, having been involved at Parish Council level previously.
I work as part of a team, not just with my husband, Colin, who is also a councillor and also the Leader of the Council but with parish councillors and residents of the villages. I am here to look after your interests as a whole, to give a voice to everyone, in every village.
I believe that we are very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country, and have a responsibility to protect it not just for our future, but for our children. When you look around the country today, so much of our heritage is falling to waste, being built over, because people take their eye off their heritagel.
